Royal Academy of Fine Arts, The Hague. Working period in the Ceramic Work Center in Heusden.

The participation of workshops of the World Crafts Council in Denmark, Portugal and Ireland made it possible to learn more about the Japanese Raku firing method. Now I have more than twenty years experience with Raku.
Raku or Rakuyaki means “the art of the fire”.

By invitation of the French Government I made, with ten Dutch ceramists, a studytrip to France.

Member of the staff of the NVK (Dutch Ceramic Organisation) and of the EKWC (European Ceramic Work Center).
